If I forgot my password, what do I do?
Simple, click here for our automated password lookup form. You will be asked for both your Handle and the email address you used when you joined BigRigMen. Fill in these fields - submit and your account information will be emailed to you.
I just joined the website and would like to become a “Driver.” I submitted all my information, but the billing company says my password needs to be a certain number of characters in order to approve the transaction. How do I change my password?
When Jettis.com tells you that your password is invalid they give you the option to change the password at the bottom of that page. Just scroll down until you see your Account Information where you will see your Username and 2 fields - one for Select Password and the other for Confirm password. You can make your change there and it will take effect on BigRigMen.com. For security purposes, your password must be 6-32 characters long.
Once you make the change click Submit and it is done.
How do I change my email address?
To change your email address, please follow these steps:
- Log into the site using your handle and password.
- From your member homepage, in the "My Account" section click on "My Account Options"
- Click on "General Settings" in the "Account Options" section.
- Change your email address.
- Click on "Change Password".

How do I turn off auto-renewal?
If you do not wish to automatically renew your Driver subscription please follow these steps:
- Log into the site using your handle and password.
- From your member homepage, in the "My Account" section click on "Click HERE to cancel your membership!!"
- Click on "Yes, cancel my membership".
How do I suspend my profile?
- Log into the site using your handle and password.
- From your member homepage, in the "My Account" section click on "General Settings"
- Click the selection box to "Suspend My Profile"
- If you'd like to continue to enjoy BigRigMen you may unselect "Suspend My Profile" at any time.

What is the Goodbuddies service? How do I use it?
When you joined BigRigMen you filled out a profile of the type of person you are looking for. You will be notified via email when a new member joins matching your criteria. You can choose to be notified through either your BigRigMen.com email, your outside email address or both.
What is Route Search?
Route Search is an exclusive feature of BigRigMen.com where Driver members can use search criteria in up to 6 different cities or zip codes in order to find friends in those areas. It is great when you are make a cross-country trip and want to have "special stops" along the way!
How do I add pictures to the BigRigMen Gallery?
When you add a picture to your profile you can choose to make it visible in the BigRigMen.com Gallery by checking the box "Add To BigRigMen Gallery". Adding your picture to the Gallery increases your visibility and your chances to find a match.
I thought you were allowed to e-mail a person after 24 hours is up? I have been a member of BigRigMen for longer than that and still can't do it.
Hitchhikers are allowed to reply to 1 email in a 24 hour period. For instance, if you were to receive an email from another member you could reply to that email and you would have to wait for 24 hours before you can reply to another. You have to be a Driver in order to initiate contact via the BigRigMen.com email system. The site is designed to build communication between our members and we hope you understand that we cannot allow free members to have as many privileges as our paid members have.
Your Profile:
Are profiles censored? Is there any limit to what I can put in my profile?
Yes, BigRigMen.com reviews every profile in order to keep our site something that everyone can enjoy. If you read our Terms of Service you will see that there is unacceptable content allowed in your profile. This content is common sense - NO CHILDREN. Also, if you enjoy the intimate company of animals - this isn't the site for you. If you are prone to communicate hate messages of any kind - this certainly isn't the place. Please read the Terms of Service for specific details.
This is a community of people who are supposed to enjoy the company of the others and we strive to keep it that way. If you notice that, for some reason, something gets by the BigRigMen.com profile checkers please notify us at support@bigrigmen.com.
How long does it take to have my profile posted?
All of the profiles are checked on a first come first served basis with Drivers having priority and then Hitchhikers. Our Drivers will have their profiles checked and posted within 48 hours. Hitchhiker profiles may take a few days longer. To have your profile posted as quickly as possible become a Driver when you join. When you do, you will also be able to take advantage of all of the other benefits that only Drivers enjoy.
What is the purpose of BigRigMen?
The purpose of BigRigMen.com is to give our members the opportunity to meet and make friends with people of similar interests online. You can do this through Chat Rooms, read articles posted by our members, or, if you are a paid member (a Driver), you can contact any of our members via BigRigMen.com email.
Is BigRigMen really free?
Yes! BigRigMen.com is always free. You never have to pay a dime for your Hitchhiker membership. You can, however, enjoy more functionality as a Driver (or paid member). As a Driver you will be able to utilize the exclusive BigRigMen.com Route Search, post articles in the BigRigMen.com Forum, and contact other members via BigRigMen.com email.
Are members on this site screened?
Each profile on BigRigMen.com is screened for improper content as set forth in the Terms of Agreement. We do not, however, screen our members and everyone is welcome to become a member.

How do I search for members?
Click on Search from the top navigation, fill out the criteria for your match and click "Submit". If your search doesn't find any matches, don't worry, we are a new site and new members are joining every day. If you would like, you can broaden your search by unchecking some of the boxes in your search criteria. The fewer things you have checked, the broader the search and the more likely the chance your search will find a match.
How do I send email to members?
If you are a Hitchhiker another member must first contact you before you can reply. You are allowed to reply to 1 email in any given 24-hour period. As a Hitchhiker you cannot initiate contact with other members. If you find a match and you would like to communicate with them, click here to become a Driver.
How do I get email from other members?
When you log on to BigRigMen.com you will be taken to the member's home page. Just below the top navigation on the left side you will find your Mailbox showing the number of new emails you have waiting to be read. You may click on the number of unread emails to read your mail.
From anywhere else on the site you can always check your mail by clicking on "Mailbox" in the top right of every page.
